Water covered OR Tambo Road again
It’s sad to see water pouring out and going to waste.
As many residents have not had running water for the last week already, it’s sad to see water pouring out and going to waste in OR Tambo Road.
On Tuesday afternoon, May 25 water covered OR Tambo Road once again and the water was still flowing by Wednesday morning, May 26.
Workers were seen at the reservoir busy working on the various problems.
The original problem started on Sunday, May 16 were the flooding of Point C Pump station occurred as a result of a blanked flanged that had failed, two water leaks on the pumping main pipeline from Point B – Point C Reservoirs near Mc Carthy Kunene Car dealership and a pipe leak inside of Point B- Pump station.
It is still estimated that residents could expect water from Friday, May 28.
