Food parcels for those in need

Children in need now will receive a nice meal every day while they at school.

One woman jumped on board the Laerskool Klipfontein feeding scheme and she has been looking and asking for sponsors to help the cause.

Annette Visser who started her school transport company when she moved to eMalahleni from Richards Bay has been involved in various schools and has helped various school children in different ways.

This year what touched her heart was the feeding scheme at Laerskool Klipfontein and the big need the school has.

Cathy Cavalieratos (Mini OK Grocer), Naomi Vermaak (teacher at Laerskool Klipfontein) and Marinda Fourie (principal from Laerskool Klipfontein).

Since the schools opened this year Annette has been getting three loaves of bread a day and taking them home where she made sandwiches for the children every day.

Annette managed to get Mini OK Grocer on board with the project and they will be cooking and making lunch for the 37 children that get feed at school.

Nicky and his daughter Cathy Cavalieratos from Mini OK Grocer have taken hands now with the Laerskool Klipfontein feeding scheme.

“We will be sponsoring the school children in need with healthy food. Food for the children will be supplied, while they focus on education and being children. We are blessed to assist and care for the community,” said Nicky to Witbank News

Teacher Naomi Vermaak who is the head of the feeding scheme sat down with Cathy where a list and a food programme will be worked out.
