No proper solution for sewerage overspill
Sewerage spill has been flowing since last year March.
A sewerage spill that just keeps on overflowing seems to have no end and there seems to be no solution.
According to the resident renting a flat in Vulture Street in Reyno Ridge the sewerage spill has been there since last year March.
If the water level gets too high, the sewerage pushes back into the flat and the main house into the shower.
The resident has reported the problem time and time again on one of the Whatsapp groups in eMalahleni.
The problem gets fixed time and time again by the council, but it only lasts for about a week and then the problem is back.
According to the resident on hot days she can’t even open up the doors or windows in the flat as the smell is just so overpowering and her son gets sick from the constant smell of sewerage.
Mr Lebo Mofokeng spokesperson was contacted about this situation and a comment from him is still pending.
