Saluting another group of sober soldiers

The next and final group of substance abusers for this year will start on October 18, thereafter the program will continue in January 2021

On World Homeless Day the Salvation Hope team did not only celebrate to draw attention to those sleeping on the streets with addiction but used the day to send off another group of men and women that completed the 31-day sobriety program.

WITBANK NEWS started reporting on these great successes in lockdown and keeps a close eye as group after group succeeds.

On October 10, family members of the attendees gathered in amazement to see their children clean and sober after completing the life-changing program.

Bishop Jeremiah Zulu, founder of the program.

“There is nothing more rewarding than seeing these men and woman on the last day of the program. It’s amazing to see how their souls are alive again and the readiness in their hearts to start a new life. We will continue to support them and check in on them as they embark on their new journey on an entirely new life, a sober honest life,” said Bishop Jeremiah Zulu founder of the program proudly.

The next and final group of substance abusers for this year will start on October 18, thereafter the program will continue in January 2021 after a well-deserved break for all volunteers assisting on a month-to-month basis at the centre.
