The suspect was caught in Tasbet Park 2 with a stolen cell phone. Eye witnesses reported that the man was also found in possession of poison.
After 11 dogs were poisoned in the same area recently, the community suspects that the man might be linked to the poisonings and attempted burglaries.
Mpumalanga Provincial Services transported the suspect to Witbank Hospital.
Update: The suspect dog poisoner died in Hospital on Sunday, May 8 due to injuries.

The man who was taken to Wit bank hospital should have been refused treatment. He is poisoning dogs and breaking into houses, therefore he should be left to suffer. A blight on the community
