Women from all corners of eMalahleni had gathered in front of the Witbank Magistrates court to show their support for burn victim Karabo Mnisi.
They voiced their opinion for the court to oppose bail for the suspect who appeared, July 14 on an attempted murder charge after he allegedly doused Mnisi with paraffin and set her alight in December 2019.
It is alleged that reports on December 2019, Kholofelo Nonyane had a heated argument with his girlfriend in their rented room in Old Coronation, eMalahleni.
He allegedly poured paraffin on her, set her alight while sleeping and locked her in their room.
The matter is postponed to July 20 for bail application.
