Witbank Police Station partially closed

telephone lines at Witbank police station community service centre will not be accessible for the duration of closure. The community is advised to call 013 655 5078 or 013 655 5162 for all emergencies and complaints which will be attended.

All communities serviced by the Witbank police station are advised that this police station has been temporarily closed due to one of its members, a civilian working at the control room tested positive for the Covid-19 virus.

The woman tested positive on Friday, June 26.

The Community Service Centre will now be operated within the premises of the police station but at the operational room which is on the left side of the Community Service Centre.

“The telephone lines at Witbank Police Station Community Service Centre will not be accessible for the duration of closure. However service delivery will not be hampered,” assured Brig Leonard Hlathi provincial police spokesperson.

The community is advised to call 013 655 5078 or 013 655 5162 for all emergencies and complaints which will be attended.

The building will be decontaminated and services will resume normally at the station on Monday, June 29..

The SAPS management apologises for any inconvenience that may arise from this. The acting station commander, Colonel David Khumalo can also be contacted at: 071 255 7869.
