Let’s walk for kidney failure

The foundation urges the community to support them in this campaign

Beautiful Scars Renal Foundation is hosting a Big Walk to create kidney failure awareness.

The Big Walk is expected to take place on Saturday, September 14, when at least 250 learners from different schools are invited to take part.

The walk will start at 10:00 at Lynville Hall and will end at the Millennium Hall, Roman Catholic Church in Ackerville.

A drama play about renal kidney failure will be performed by talented local young performers at the destination of the walk.

Beautiful Scars Renal Foundation chairperson Sinenhlanhla Ndimande said: “I have been going for dialysis all my life for 30 years and I want to share my story and make people aware of kidney failure and that it can be managed like other diseases.”

She added that they will be raising funds for renal kidney failure patients who cannot afford dialysis procedures.

The foundation urges the community to support them in this campaign.
