Last week the WITBANK NEWS reported on two cases where a green vehicle was used to rob homes and businesses.
Before the paper was out on the streets another robbery took place.
On Wednesday, January 16 at 11:00 the complainant alleged that she was at home in Mona Street.
She said someone stopped at the house in a green vehicle and a woman and a man climbed out.
They said to the woman that they want to buy the house and she said she was not selling.
Then they requested to use the bathroom, the unknown man wanted to use the toilet and the woman asked for a glass of water.
While the man was inside the house and the woman was drinking water, the home owner did not suspect anything.
When they left, the home owner noticed that her wedding ring, a cell phone and cash was stolen.
Police arrived on scene and a statement was taken from the home owner.
