Those who have so much need to reach out to the orphans and show them love and support which they deserve; these are the sentiments of the DA.

Highveld House is a registered orphanage situated in De Klerk Street. It sees to the needs of 12 children.

This orphanage receives no funding from the state and is totally dependent on donations from the community for all its requirements.

The importance of assisting the needy cannot be overstated, more so when those in need are our youth. It is our youth that form the foundation of society and its future.

For a society to progress in leaps and bounds, we need to ensure that the youth are moulded for future challenges.

Therefore it is incumbent upon every citizen benefiting from the city of eMalahleni to take care of our future leaders.

Hence, this is a humble plea for one and all to generously donate to this worthy cause, as these are our children of our town, the city of eMalahleni.

We as the DA have led by example by ensuring that the needs of our orphans are taken care of by the donating of fruit and vegetables.
