Operation Festive Season continues in Ogies and Phola
The roadblock started at 06:00 on Friday, January 12 at the R545 road (Ogies/Balmoral road) next to Phola entrance and moved to R555 road at Ogies next to South32 Mine at 10:00.

Members taking part in the roadblock were Phola and Ogies Vispol SAPS members, provincial traffic officers and Law Enforcement officials.

The roadblock was led by Phola SAPS Vispol Support Commander, Warrant Officer Nathan Maleka.
“Everything went well and road traffic fines were issued to all who were not complying with the National Road Act,” said Phola SAPS Corporate Communication Officer, Constable Thabang Mabena.

On the first leg of Operation Festive Season which took place on Friday, January 5 a total number of 24 national road traffic fines were issued.
