While most families spend their Christmas with their loved one happy, it was not to be with the Ngubeni family in Hlalanikahle.
Ms Eva Thoko Ngubeni stated that she had a sewerage problem for a number of months now.
She says the sewerage problem started some months before December last year and it becomes worse when it rains, the matter has been reported to the ward Cllr Jappie Msibi who promised to send the municipality workers to fix it.
Municipal workers did come as promise about a month ago and left the manhole open and left without fixing it.
It has been left open for the past month according Ms Ngubeni.
