A 33-year old mother and her young daughter are still missing.
The mother of Gloria Mtombifuthi Mbonani and grandmother of Ndumiso Mbonani opened a case of kidnapping at Witbank Police Station on November 17.

She said that her daughter went to Johannesburg for an interview and that she took her little one with her. When she tried to phone Gloria her phone immediately went onto voicemail but she received a message from her daughter’s phone at about 12:00 the same day.
Ndumiso Mbonani.
The message stated,
“Am having your daughters if they behave I will let them go but if they don’t I’ll destroy them I’ll take them to North West. I will call you with my number to arrange money.”
