SEDIBENG – The Emfuleni Local Football Association (EFLA) will host a CAF C License/Diploma Coaching Course.
The first phase of the course is scheduled to take place from October 10-12 with the second one to take place from November 2-8. This was revealed to Sedibeng Ster Sport by the ELFA head of technical, Paul Motsepe.
Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, Motsepe said this is their ongoing project to empower development coaches. Motsepe said there is a need to continue to empower grassroot coaches (both men and women). In the past, ELFA hosted a successful coaching course for both local and outside coaches. Motsepe said he has no doubt that this course will attract more coaches.
He believes that the association has a duty to ensure that development coaches obtain the relevant qualifications.
“It is our responsibility to see to it that more coaches are empowered in our region. This is our commitment to the development of football,” said Motsepe.
