Man arrested for sodomising friends after a wild night out

VANDERBIJLPARK – What was meant to be a simple act of kindness quickly escalated into a shocking and disturbing crime that left two friends reeling in shock.
This comes after two men were sodomised last weekend by a stranger who offered them a place to stay following a wild night out at a popular nightclub in the civic centre. In the early hours of September 1, two friends were taken to College Mansion in Vanderbijlpark, but little did they know that they were going to encounter a distressing incident.
According to Vanderbijlpark police spokesperson Sergeant Sabelo Sigcu one of the victims woke up to a chilling realisation when he found his clothes on his knees. “Before he could fully comprehend the situation the suspect boldly confessed to violating him, claiming that the victim should not be surprised if he felt pain in his anus, because he had been sexually assaulted,” Sigcu explained.
Sigcu further added that the victim hastily left the flat in an attempt to escape the nightmare. The suspect also raped his friend while he was sleeping.
Sigcu said the suspect has since been arrested and a case of rape is under investigation.
“The arrested suspect is set to appear in the Vanderbijlpark Magistrate’s Court soon.”
