WATCH: Vereeniging sweet shop owner kidnapped
A video which has surfaced online shows how the kidnapping was perpetrated.
VEREENIGING. – Irfaan Dadabhay, a business owner from Vereeniging, was dragged from his business, Mimosa Sweets, by the arms and legs by armed kidnappers kidnappers on Thursday morning and bundled into a vehicle.
The kidnappers then sped off.
The incident happened shortly before 09:00.
A video which has since surfaced on social media which shows how the act was carried out.

On the video one can see three armed men storming into the shop. Later Dadabhay is dragged out of his shop by the arms and legs.
According to witnesses on the scene shots were fired during the kidnapping.
A red Hyundai SUV, presumably used in the kidnapping was later found in Phumasbethane Informal Settlement, commonly known as Phuma’s near Sharpville later that day.
The police are still looking for Dadabhay and his kidnappers.
