Suspect arrested after Lesotho national is stabbed to death

Police spokesperson, Sergeant Nthabiseng Mokhachane said that the victim was stabbed to death.

SEBOKENG – A suspect is behind bars for murder charges after the body of a 28-year-old Lesotho national was discovered at Masakeng in Extension 15, Sebokeng last Monday.
Police spokesperson, Sergeant Nthabiseng Mokhachane said that the victim was stabbed to death.
β€œIt is alleged that the deceased, Motlale Modise, was sleeping when he was forcefully dragged to the outside of his residence in the early hours of the morning. The deceased was found on the street lying on the ground with multiple stab wounds and bruises. He was declared dead at the scene, and the motive behind his killing is unknown,” Mokhachane explained.
A suspect has been arrested while an investigation into the murder is ongoing.
The police urge community members who might have information regarding the matter to come forward.
