Bakkie stolen in Vaalpark recovered, suspect in court
The suspect was arrested and the Toyota Hilux was seized.
SASOLBURG.- A man arrested in connection with a stolen bakkie in Vaalpark is expected to appear before the Sasolburg Magistrates court today.
In a statement police spokesperson Sergeant Josephjne Rani said on Tuesday the Fezile Dabi district team was busy tracing a copper cable thief around Sebokeng.
During their patrol, the team received information regarding a Hyundai i20 escorting a Toyota bakkie, which was allegedly stolen in Vaalpark and suspected to be heading towards Gauteng.
While patrolling, the members spotted the two vehicles and pursued them until they managed to stop the Toyota Hilux and the second vehicle managed to escape.
The suspect was arrested and the Toyota Hilux was seized.
