According to Sheryl, Ryan is suspected to have been bitten by a violin spider on his foot about two and a half weeks ago.

His leg is now infected with cellulitis, a bacterial skin infection.

I need to get Ryan to a proper hospital where I know that Ryan can get the proper meds to treat him for the spider bite,” says Sheyl.

We are trying to avoid sepsis going into Ryan’s system, if it is not there already…” the concerned mother says.

Sheryl has since succeeded in raising R900 towards Ryan’s medical expenses – a mere 4% of the amount required, according to her Back-a-Buddy page.

According to Sheryl, an expert has since showed her to clean Ryan’s wounds.

The bandages are not allowed to be used twice. Ryan has to have his wounds cleaned daily,” says Sheryl.

According to her it looks like amputation may be needed on on of Ryan’s toes so far.
