Enrol now for 2025: Emmanuel Private School & King’s Way Preschool

Emmanuel’s vision is, "To impact the world by educating Christian leaders through Biblical Principles".

VANDERBIJLPARK. – Emmanuel Private School is an independent Christian school that does not only focus on providing quality education, but also on developing Godly character in learners. The school caters for learners from the age of two years to grade R at the King’s Way Campus located at 6 Carter Street, SW5, Vanderbijlpark, and for learners from Grade 1 to Grade 12 on the main campus at 14 Totius Street, SW 1, Vanderbijlpark.

More than twenty years ago the pastor of AFM Emmanuel Christian Fellowship, Andy Norton, was inspired to establish a Christian school in Vanderbijlpark. At the time, the church owned and operated The Little Sparrow Nursery School for the children of the congregation as well as the wider community. Parents from Little Sparrow expressed a desire to have a Christian school where their children could continue their education.

Emmanuel Private School opened its doors on 16 January 1996 with 42 learners and three educators with the aim of providing quality Christian education in Vanderbijlpark. The school uses the Accelerated Christian Education (A.C.E.) programme. This is a unique education system that offers students the opportunity to learn at their own pace while being guided by excellent, Biblically-based learning materials. The A.C.E. programme was developed to offer parents and students a high-quality, Christian alternative to the conventional schooling system. This learning system has been used by schools and home schools around the world for more than four decades. The A.C.E. programme covers the critical outcomes and standards of the National Curriculum Statements (NCS) as prescribed by the Department of Education in South Africa.

The school’s focus is on academic excellence and learners’ character development. The academic programme aims at developing both learning skills and mastery of content. Development of learners’ character is highly valued and planned for.
Emmanuel’s vision is, “To impact the world by educating Christian leaders through Biblical Principles”. Emmanuel’s graduates are continuing with the school’s vision. Many have successfully entered and graduated from tertiary institutions countrywide. They are now contributing successfully to the workplace and the wider community.

Emmanuel Private School plays an important role in the community of Vanderbijlpark and will continue to impact the lives of many students who come through its doors.
