Skilled in Negotiation, Entrepreneurship, Business Planning, Coaching, and Leadership, Maureen Dosoudil is a dedicated and very successful business woman. With her huge interest in Governance and Political Transformation (and a Masters degree in these fields) she is also serving the community as a Ward Councillor in the Emfuleni Local Municipality.
Maureen can indeed be described as a changemaker in the Vaal. As a council member she does not hesitate to fight for residents’ rights, and also campaigns for clean drinking water. And it’s here that she walks the talk: As owner of i-Water she makes it possible for residents to enjoy clean, purified and alkaline water.
First established in 2012 at Palms Mall, i-Water has grown steadily. Lizette Kilian, well-known in the motor trade, both in sales and finance, became involved in the business and the partnership continues to grow. Lizette has helped i-Water expand over the years: A second shop opened in 2014 in Sasolburg, followed by a shop in Vaalpark in 2015, after which i-Water branched out to Benoni and Alberton. In 2018 a second Vanderbijlpark shop, located at Perfect Centre in SE2, was opened. Together Maureen and Lizette aim to provide the best in the business. “We are proud to say our water taste delicious,” is their message. Lizette is acting mainly as a silent partner for now, but will take over full operations in a few years when Maureen retires.
“We are both goal driven individuals with strong beliefs in ethical trading and want to not only make a success of our own water shops but to also provide pure water to our customers whilst enhancing their experience when vising our shops,” says Maureen.
i-Water is built on providing good service in hygienic conditions. Alkaline water, which has all the minerals put back into the purified water, naturally increases the pH to 9.5.
