Tail wagging fun at The Braai Wagon

VEREENIGING. - 50 Shades of Spay is hosting a "fun-d-raiser" on July 28 at The Braai Wagon in Three Rivers. The theme for the Wag & Walk Dog and Family Day is Christmas in July.

Apart from all the fun for furry friends, there will also be food and entertainment to make the day extra special.

Carla, singer songwriter, will be entertaining visitors while The Braai Wagon, under the supervision of owners Dries and Linel Visser, will be feeding and watering owners and dogs with their delicious menu.

The bar will be also be open.

“We are inviting all interested stall owners to contact Tersia Venter on WhatsApp 084 050 4826 to book a stall. The cost per stall is 12 kg dog food.

Entry to stalls and the restaurant is free.

The dog park will open at 11:00 and entrance to the park is R50 per adult, R25 per child and R10 per dog.

“The dog park will open at 11:00 and we will regulate the traffic through the park with time slots so everybody can take time to enjoy the exciting things we have planned for the route,” says Yvette Wilde, the force behind 50 Shades of Spay.

What can you expect on the route?

A ball pen where you and your dog swim your way through balls.

An obstacle course, mud pond, colour run, bubble run and a foam pit to name but a few.

When you exit the park your dog will get a rosette and a foodie bag.

You will also have the opportunity to go through the quick wash and dry provided by Rose Acre Dog Grooming.

Complimentary nail clipping is included and if you wish you can also have your dog dewormed for a small fee.

While you wait for your time slot in the park we will be hosting a few competitions to keep you entertained.

Entry to the competitions is R20 per dog.

Dog & owner musical chairs
Mr Furry 50 Shades
Mrs Furry 50 Shades

“Please come join us. Proceeds go towards the 50 Shades of Spay vet account and outreach animals. Bring donations of blankets, dog and cat food,” invites Yvette.
