‘Winter Warm’ Project brings warmth to 600 kids

Lusa Community Chest would like to thank all the corporate and community partners and individuals who generously contributed

Every child needs warm clothing to keep their bodies and hearts warm during cold winter days, but many less privileged kids have to go through the winter months without the necessary warm clothing.
To help children in need, LUSA Community Chest embarks on their “Winter Warm” project every year to assist such children in the Vaal Triangle, and this year was no exception. LUSA again coordinated a very successful project and with the assistance of participating role players, destributed parcels for hundreds of children.

“It’s all about bringing warm smiles to 600 children in 20 registered organisations this winter,” says LUSA’s project coordinator Retha Jacobs. The recent handover function was sponsored by Emerald Resort & Casino.
Lusa Community Chest would like to thank all the corporate and community partners and individuals who generously contributed with donations, sponsorships, discounts and services in order to help keep less priviledged children warm this winter.
The success of this worthy project was made possible thanks to these companies and individuals in the Vaal Triangle:
Staro Process Control, Safripol, Emerald Resort & Casino, IFM 102.2, MooiVaal Media, Mardo Photos, Alta Pretorius, Sedgars, Ackermans, Boots & Hats, and Brink Skips.
