This is why the ANC got Robert’s vote

Vaalweekblad reader Robert Kruger wrote this letter a day before the election to explain why one should consider voting for the ANC:
I’m going to vote ANC. I can’t wait to lay my vote on them. I mean, they have been good to SA for 27 years! No corruption, no looting, and the service delivery was just awesome!
Yeah I can’t wait… I’m giving them my vote. They constantly plan ahead for the future of SA – I mean, just look at how nice the situation with Eskom is at the moment. Who could ever think that you can share a load… maybe we are lucky and we can be having candle light dinners more often. They really make sure you spend more time with the family.
They have this one guy in the Police force, Mr Beki – man, that guy is intelligent! No one dies under his watch! He really looks after us all – a true hero.
I’m voting ANC because I like the way that the poor get rich. That’s just amazing! I can’t wait to see how in another 10 years everybody will be equal and have to not just share loads of electricity but also food and water and so on. They are a true reflection of someone I want in charge.
