VANDERBIJLPARK. – The COVID-19 lockdown robbed human kind of many things we previously took for granted, but thanks to excellent doctors in the Vaal Triangle, we can still rest assured that professional medical help remains at hand.

Three of these doctors, Dr Marius Bester, Dr Quinten Fourie and Dr Danny Dennewill, joined hands at the Dr M. Bester Medical Centre at 38 Fitzsimmons Street, Vanderbijlpark to provide top care to residents of the Vaal Triangle – whether you need assistance with general health issues, sports injuries, enhancing your physical appearance, or maintaining and improving your dental health.

Dr Marius Bester is the Owner and Director of Dr Mabude & Bester Inc. He started his private practice in Vanderbijlpark in 2003 after obtaining his MBChB from Pretoria University in 2000. His passion for emergency medicine led him to co-own and serve as the Clinical Director of Emfuleni Mediclinic and Lenmed Randfontein Hospital emergency rooms. He has a love for sport and fitness and represented the Golden Lions at U19 and U21 level. This motivated him to complete his Master’s Degree (MSc.) and graduated Cum Laude in 2016 from Pretoria University.
He has also been invited to do his PhD (doctoral) in emergency medicine at Pretoria University, researching sudden cardiac death in athletes. Dr Bester’s research thesis was accepted and was presented at the 2018 FIMS World Sports Medicine Congress in Rio, Brazil. Dr Bester is certified to serve as a Match Day Doctor for World Rugby and SA Rugby. Dr Fourie also has a special interest in musculoskeletal injuries, including sport injuries, and has been involved in several South African junior athletics and swimming galas. He combines integrative medicine (anti-ageing) as a holistic approach to his patients.
