Four lifeless bodies found inside Sicelo house

Four bodies were found without visible injuries.

MEYERTON. – The police in Meyerton have opened an inquest docket after four lifeless bodies and an unconscious male were discovered inside a house in Modikeng Street in Sicelo on Saturday 15 June.

According to Constable Tlaleng Moloi, a spokesperson for the police in Meyerton, the police received a complaint and upon arrival at the scene found paramedics assisting an unconscious male.

“Officers also met the complainant, who pointed them to a house. Upon entering the house four bodies, including that of an adult female (36), a 16-year-old female teenager, a 6-year-old boy and an infant (2) were found in without visible injuries in separate rooms of the house,” Moloi told Ster North.

According to Moloi they were declared dead at the scene by paramedics and the unconscious male was taken to the hospital for medical attention.

The motive behind the loss of lives is still unclear at this stage.

An inquest docket was opened and the case is still under investigation.

The police have requested anyone with information that could help to solve the case to contact the investigating officer, Warrant Detective Officer Taunyane on 078 820 2025 or (016) 360 4700.
