Colour Festival for a good cause

The Colour Festival will take place on May 4 from 09:00. Entry is free and there will be all sorts of entertainment like inflatable sumo wrestling and boxing, zorb balls, a giant slide at only R50 per ticket.

MIDVAAL. – Känguru Institute for the Disabled is hosting a Colour Festival at their residential home (43 Garthview Road, Garthdale) in Kliprivier.

This event will not only be a fundraising event but also to inform the community of their work and create awareness.

“Living costs are crazy now and we sometimes barely make it through the month. We aim to create awareness not only for financial assistance but also for “in-kind” donations like cleaning materials, groceries and good quality second-hand clothes for our kids.

“If we can receive support we will have more funds available in our budget for specialised equipment that the children need,” explains Adele Modoo of the Känguru Institute.

There will also be food and drinks on sale.
