Reason shot to fame with his singles called ‘Do It Like I Can’ and ‘No Sleep’ and he has worked with the likes of Tumi, Ginger Breadman and Tall Ass Mo.
He told SunBuzz: “Opening the act for Kendrick is really cool. This will open more doors for me.”
He explained about now reaching more people with his music: “It’s about time! I have enjoyed every step of the way. A lot of lessons were learnt.”
Joining Reason on stage will be other local stars including Khuli Chana, Dream Team and DJ Dimplez.
Miller Boomtown presents Kendrick Lamar kicks off in Durban at the Wavehouse on February 7. The next day, he will move onto Johannesburg Stadium in Johanessburg and then to Cape Town’s Bellville Velodrome on February 9.
