Watch: Springs Advertiser wishes Tinkerbell well

JP 'Tinkerbell' Kruger will be fighting for the middleweight title at EFC49 tonight.

The Springsite will face off against Brit, Yannick ‘Black Mamba’ Bahati at Carnival City tonight (Friday).

During weigh-ins yesterday things took a less civil turn when Yannick shoved JP when the two fighters met.

Taking his opponent’s lack of sportsmanship in stride, JP commented (in Afrikaans): “Mountains may never meet, but real men do.

“You don’t come to my country and not show respect. I am going to teach you some manners.”

Yannick repeated his earlier comments: “I have said this before, he is sloppy on his feet and a white belt on the ground. I am going to pressure him and finish it.”

The Advertiser and Springs are behind our champion and wish him well.

We, at the Addie, are looking forward to having the belt in Springs later tonight.
