Help your child make an easy lion leaf craft

This lion face craft is great for older toddlers and preschoolers and helps develop fine motor and gross motor skills.

Have some fun today helping your child make an easy lion leaf craft. 

 What you need

  • A4 sheet of paper 
  • A variety of dried leaves
  • Craft glue
  • Scissors
  • Pencils or crayons

How to make it

  1. Help your child draw a simple outline of a lion’s face on a sheet of paper. Take a look at Pinterest for some inspiration and easy lion face tutorials, or click here
  2. Help your child to carefully cut out the lion’s head.
  3. Using glue, stick leaves around the lion’s face to make a mane.
  4. Give it some time for the glue to really set!
  5. Lastly, let your child colour the lion’s face in with pencils or crayons.
