The City of Ekurhuleni will give 100 free units of electricity to residents on residential Tariff A Inclining Block Tariff (IBT)
All customers on Tariff A IBT residential who did not make any purchases during July will receive the 100kWh Free Basic Electricity (FBE) units with their first purchase.

Customers on Tariff A IBT Residential who already made purchases from July 1 to 2, who have not received their 100kWh FBE, will see the following changes as from July 5 or earlier:
• All customers who purchased electricity and only received 50kWh FBE will receive 50kWh units FBE with their next purchase.
• All customers who purchased electricity and received 0kWh FBE units will receive 100kWh units with their next purchase.
