GS Musiq and King Nelly drop latest single, Pressure

Local artists GS Musiq and King Nelly are set to release a hot new single in collaboration with DJ MkiriWay on October 1.
The new single, Pressure, “is about going after what’s ours and putting pressure on all negative vibes around us as we are only focused on reaching the goal with no unnecessary distractions,” said GS Musiq.
The collaboration with DJ MkiriWay came about organically after the pair chatted via social media and realised they had similar ideas about music.
They want to entertain their fans and convey a message to them.
“We’re also letting everyone know who runs the kingdom, #TheEastKings,” said GS Musiq.

When asked how much of his music is a reflection of what he’s feeling or going through, given that a lot of artists are struggling with the extended lockdown and not being able to work and make a living, GS Musiq stated their music is about facts.
“Less than 10 per cent of our music is based on feelings, it is mostly about facts.
“The lockdown closed a lot of doors, but it didn’t shut down the momentum and passion that we have for making music,” said GS Musiq.
Fans of GS Musiq will be happy to know the signature sound they’ve come to love from the Springs native is still there and is the start of bigger and better things.

“The same work ethic is there, we always give our A game.
“Sharp skills, no compromising, the only difference is that we now featured DJ MkiriWay,” said GS Musiq.
The musician said he’s looking forward to more collaborations with DJ MkiriWay and other artists.
