Rabbit is having too much fun to go to sleep so when it starts to get dark he decides to take matters into his own hands.

Fetching his best biscuit tin from the kitchen, rabbit goes outside to find the dark.

Being a clever little rabbit, he offers the dark a biscuit so he can cunningly trap the dark in the tin to prevent night from falling.

While rabbit plays in the light, the dark, like a patient parent explains to rabbit why other animals need the dark for their well-being, teaching rabbit to care about others and share all the things he loves most.

This is a great read for younger readers with wonderful picture to pique the imagination and send them off to dreamland.

Like all good children’s book it has a wonderful story which delivers a moral, not unlike a modern day Aesop’s fable.

The book also has a free stories aloud smartphone audio book feature.
