Club member Bruce Gardner says the course is in outstanding condition at the moment.

“Especially the greens, which are holding beautifully for not only full shots but pitch shots too.

“The ideal would be for the bunkers to be revamped too, but, unfortunately, this is out of the reach of most of the golf courses in today’s tight financial world.

“The friendly staff and good service are always enjoyed at Pollak Park, especially by the Gingers Day participants.

“Gingers Golf Day has been part of Pollak Park for many many years and will continue for many more years to come.

“Mike Wise is the convenor for this year and anyone keen to join in this great fun golf day please contact Mike through Pollak Park Golf Club,” says Gardner.
