First there was Maestra. Then there was Domina. Now – there is Ultima.

Being a fake herself, Elizabeth Teerlinc is an international art dealer who knows a thing or two about fakes and she’s going to need every tool at her disposal to pull off one of the biggest fakes of her life.

Her real identity, Judith Rashleigh, is buried under a layer of lies which are now threatening to bury her.

As her deceptions start catching up with her Judith finds herself caught between a Russian mafia boss and a corrupt Italian policeman, with few choices left if she wants to extract herself from a dire set of circumstances.

To do this she must pull off her biggest illusion to date by faking and selling a fake of an art masterpiece for $150-million (approximately R2.3-billion).

To make matters work, in order to raise the money she must sell it to the gallery at which she used to be a lowly assistant.

However, while the price of failure may be a bullet to the brain, Judith, who loves the adrenaline of extreme sex, is looking forward to the rush of trying to hoodwink her despised ex-boss in a plan that will bring with it a side dish of satisfaction at beating the man who once fired her.

Exposing her true identity will put Judith in even more danger and may bring past truths, that even Judith cannot deal with, to the surface where the results are unforeseeable but will undoubtedly have a negative impact on our antihero.

Book review: Munich

This is the third in the trilogy by Hilton and I found I was truly captivated by the sassy, fast-paced wit of this strong female lead, despite the fact that I have not read the two volumes which come before.

Hilton grabs the reader on the first page and maintains her stronghold until long after the last page has been turned and the story concluded.

I simply loved this thrilling tale and will definitely be grabbing her first two works in this series to delve into Judith in her pre-Ultima world.
