• Fun for all at the Springs Catholic Church 5km Neon Night Walk/Run at the Ermelo Road Zoo (next to the karate club). Starts at 5.30pm, registration from 3.30pm. Bring your torch or headlamp. • A woman’s morning will be held in the school hall at Springs Technical High School. The guest speaker will be Karlien van Jaarsveld, speaking on the theme Om God te Prys te Midde van jou Pyn. • Audition for the Cantare Jubiloso Choir at the Nederduitsch Hervormde Kerk on the corner of Struben and de Mist streets, Rynfield, Benoni. Your audition will be utilised to establish a sense of your range, tone and voice quality. Candidates should preferably be able to read music. Heritage Day three-koppie hike of up to three hours through the Melville Koppies Nature Reserve and Heritage Site. Park, meet and pay in the upper parking area at Marks Park, Judith Road, Emmarentia. Hike sets off at 8.30am sharp so please arrive well in time. R60 adults, R40 children – all donations are used to maintain the Koppies. First Wednesday of the month

• Join the Boksburg Hiking Club for a meeting at the Atlas Bowling Club, corner of Denel North and Atlas roads, Bonaero Park. Braai fires will be ready from 5.30pm for a bring and braai.
