Rocco Van Schalkwyk has won the Battle of the Voices competition.
For the past eight weeks, aspiring singers competed in Battle of The Voices, a vocal competition where the lucky winner would walk away with R25 000 worth in prizes.
On Thursday evening, the final commenced after seven weeks of differently themed rounds where each week the contestants were judged by industry professionals on their vocal ability, performance quality as well as song choices.

The competition was hosted by the newly opened Mimi’s Pub and Grill in Sharon Park.
Among the prizes, the winner also walked away with a performance contract at the pub.
The runner-up was Christiaan Pretorius and in third place was Elizabeth Chauke.
