It’s almost time for the annual Afrisaam Fees which will take place next Friday and Saturday at Fabu-Leux Wedding and Conference Venue.
For those who are not familiar with this venue, on the corner of Wit and Zig Zag roads, it is situated on what used to be the sports grounds of Springs Technical High School.
Gates open at 5pm on Friday evening with Kurt Darren, Juanita du Plessis and Arno Jordaan on the bill. Dirk van der Westhuizen will be the MC for the evening.

On Saturday, the festivities start at 9am and music lovers will enjoy performances by a host of musicians, both up-and-coming and established acts including Arno van der Hoff, Deon Groot, Riana Nel, Juan Boucher, Karlien van Jaarsveld, Jay, Dirk van der Westhuizen, Snotkop and Steve Hofmeyr.
There will be a host of food and drinks stalls and the festival promises to be bigger and better than ever before.

Five lucky readers will each win a double ticket for entry, on both June 8 and 9, to this annual Afrikaans music extravaganza.

You also need to post a photo of yourself getting ready for the festival, or showing your support for one of the artists who will be on stage next Friday or Saturday, on your own Instagram page with @springsaddie tagged and the hashtags #afrisaamfees2018 #biggestfan.
Entries close at midnight on Monday.
The winners will be announced on Facebook on Tuesday and tickets can be collected from Samantha Keogh or Izahn Krige during business hours before close of business next Thursday.
