DVD review: A Bad Moms Christmas
Stay warm this winter with great DVDs, including the second installment of the Bad Moms franchise.

Carrying on from the first instalment, A Bad Moms Christmas follows moms Amy, Kiki and Carla’s trials and tribulations as they try to make Christmas special for their children while also living up to their mothers’ expectations, or lack thereof.
Amy’s plans for a laid back family Christmas are derailed when her mom Ruth arrives at her house insisting on all the trimmings, including a lavish Christmas Eve party in Amy’s house, and demanding extravagant gifts be bought.
Add to that the fact that Amy is now in a happy relationship with Jesse and Ruth simply refuses to remember his name or accept the fact that he is not “the help” and things between the two are bound to get volatile.
Kiki, on the other hand, is dealing with her overly clingy mom Sandy who, wearing jerseys with Kiki’s face printed on them, demands Kiki be with her every second of the day, including at night when she sneaks into the bedroom to watch Kiki and her husband, Kent’s, intimate acts.
Making up the intrepid trio of mom’s, Carla’s problem is that her mother is not involved enough.
Her mother Isis has no clue what time of the year it is. She’s just in town to milk Carla for money.
Of course, in keeping with her slutty persona, Carla keeps the raunchy comedy coming with her tryst with an exotic dancer she meets at work.
While waxing his privates, Carla learns that he is competing in a sexy (stripper) Santa competition and he asks her to be his date.

Repeating many of the themes we saw in the first movie, the three women vow to take Christmas back and set about forcing their ideals on their mothers who, with a large amount of resistance, eventually meet them halfway and, in the process, become BFFs.While this isn’t the most original movie you’re likely to see this year, it is a fun romp perfect for cold winter evenings.
