In a world where the cars are the drivers, in this essential guide youngsters can find out all about their favourite characters including race car Lightning McQueen.

The colourful pages give details of each character’s design – Lightning McQueen has a rust-eze logo, winning smile and can go from 0-60 in four seconds (although it is not clear if this is miles or kilometres).

He is a 2006 custom-built piston cup racer with a full race V8 engine with 750hp and has a top speed of 318km per hour.

There are also pages detailing the inside of each car with information about the engine and other parts.

Readers can find out about key locations, themes and iconic moments – like the Piston Cup – from the movie and enjoy stories of racing history within the Cars franchise.

With lively, informative text, the book captures the excitement of the colourful world of Cars, as well as providing fun facts, making this the perfect book to get younger children interested in reading.
