In search of a Christmas miracle
Walter Meyer is looking for a Christmas miracle. Nothing big, nothing fancy, nothing too ambitious... just a peaceful family Christmas with his four children.

It’s the first Christmas after his wife’s death and Walter is planning on making all her traditional dishes for his family Christmas.
Arriving five days before Christmas, the family descends on him and quickly make it clear with their incessant bickering that he won’t be enjoying a happy, quiet holiday.
Walter soon realises that it will be a Christmas miracle if they can get through the next five days with lives and limbs intact.
Almost Christmas is billed as a comedy but comes across more as a weak drama as the dysfunctional family yell over each other.
Although not my cup of tea, die hard Danny Glover fans may well enjoy this family romp which offers positive messages about forgiveness, family closeness and the power of a strong family legacy.
