Radio Raps to perform at Carnival City

Radio Raps comedian is set to perform his latest show 'Laat ek jou so sê' at Carnival City in November.

Radio Raps comedian Jonathan vanaf die Oos-Rand returns to Carnival City’s Big Top Arena in November for a show sure to leave fans screaming with laughter.

In this one-man show titled ‘Laat ek jou so sê’, Jonathan talks about how we are all too busy focusing on news and bigger happenings in life, that we forget to pay attention to the small day-to-day details that are sent to test us.

These are the experiences that have the potential to make our lives bright and filled with fun and meaning, but only if we choose to embrace it.

“Basics boys, basics,” he says.

Jonathan maintains that although life can be difficult to understand at times, it is very simple in actual fact and that it all comes down to a person’s individual outlook.

In typical Radio Raps fashion, he explains that the truth isn’t necessarily complicated, but that people’s acceptance of it may very well be.

He uses common South African lingo including ‘lekker boys’, ‘da vat hy’ and ‘olraait’ which his fans identify with.

With over 80 000 followers on Facebook and Twitter, his initial material posted on YouTube earned him over three million views.

Having already reached gold status, a DVD of his Life 101 show was released in 2015, followed by the release of his second live performance, Life 201.

A CD collaboration of his most popular material titled Da vat hy Vol 1 was released in 2014.
