Craft beer at its best

Grab a friend, or a group of them, and head on over to Emperors Palace on June 11 for the Cheers Beer Festival.

The festival focuses on the craft liquor industry throughout South Africa with the emphasis on showcasing the talent of brewers, distillers and producers of quality craft liquor and bringing them together under one umbrella.

The organisers have promised beer drinkers “an interactive and experiential platform where the public can sample and experience a multitude of beers produced by smaller micro-breweries”.

“Along with the craft beer industry, the Cheers Beer Festival will be introducing gourmet street food options to pair with the beer as well as live entertainment,” they add.

This a great opportunity for beer connoisseurs and those who would like to experience something a little less mainstream.

The event starts at 1pm on the lawns of the D’oreale Gardens and the ticket price includes a beer glass.
