Carnival City scoops second Diamond Arrow Award

Carnival City scooped a prestigious Diamond Arrow Award in Professional Management Review’s (PMR) annual survey of business executives and decision makers for the second consecutive year.

This is the highest accolade that can be achieved in the awards programme.

Survey respondents, including an array of people from government officials to corporate representatives and business owners, rated Carnival City highly across all indicators in the casinos and entertainment centres in the Ekurhuleni category.

“We are delighted that Carnival City has received the highest accolade, a Diamond Arrow Award, in this respected awards programme for the second year running. That we received such an excellent rating, based on the perceptions of PMR’s professional readership, is a great source of pride.

“The award bears testimony to our employees’ commitment to service excellence, quality, professionalism, and innovation,” says Carnival City’s general manager, Annemie Turk.

The awards are the culmination of a research process during which companies and institutions are rated based on respondents perceptions.

Companies and institutions are rated against criteria including contribution to economic growth and development of the province; levels of managerial expertise; corporate governance and levels of innovation.
