Family ties and loyalty are put to the ultimate test in the action crime thriller Run All Night.

Jimmy “The Gravedigger” Conlon (Liam Neeson) is a burned out mob hit man who is haunted by the memories of all the people he helped put six feet under.

Of course, the choices he made came with a price and he has been disowned by his son Mike (Joel Kinnaman), a retired boxer who mentors children at a local gym and moonlights as a chauffeur.

Although Mike leads a quiet family life, things soon change when he witnesses one of his passengers being gunned down by Danny (Boyd Holbrook).

Unfortunately Danny is the son of mob boss Shawn Maguire (Ed Harris) who is not only Jimmy’s old employer, but also his best friend.

With his son’s life on the line, Jimmy comes to the rescue and takes Danny out.

With a single shot, Jimmy closes the lid on years of friendship and he places himself and his son in grave danger.

Now on the run from both the mob and the police, Jimmy and Mike have to put their differences aside and work together in order to survive.

Run All Night features a stellar cast but it is the brilliant and talented Ed Harris who steals the spotlight with his cold, ruthless portrayal of Shawn Maguire.

Run All Night is fast-paced, well executed and definitely worth a watch.
