The Best of Ekurhuleni Readers’ Choice Awards winners announced at Emperors

October 28 saw the inaugural Best of Ekurhuleni Readers’ Choice Awards, proudly brought to you by Caxton local newspapers in partnership with the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality (EMM).

This was the first ever annual BOE awards, and all the winners in the 99 voting categories were announced at a glittering cocktail party at Emperors Palace on the night.

Champagne was popped and wine was flowing with all the winners celebrating their awards.

Guests from Ekurhuleni and further afield reveled in the great atmosphere of the event and everyone was encouraged to help grow the EMM.

What is the Best of Ekurhuleni Readers’ Choice Awards?

The Best of Ekurhuleni Reader’s Choice Awards was established to inspire the residents of Ekurhuleni to celebrate the best of the best and to inspire growth and prosperity in local business and organisations.

Voters came from nine towns and 17 townships within the EMM.

Caxton East/South Local Newspapers and the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality joined forces this year to bring the residents of Ekurhuleni the Best of Ekurhuleni Readers’ Choice Awards 2015.

There were five main categories to vote from and voting took place in August this year.
