A worthwhile ending

A good movie to watch with your other half, but definitely not for the eyes of children.

To start off with, this is not a movie you’d want to watch with small children.

It was slightly difficult to get into the movie and I regularly found that my mind was wondering, forcing to focus on the movie again.

To be honest, the only reason I kept at it was because Tom Hardy played the main character, need I say more?

Set in 1950s Soviet Russia, Tom Hardy plays a secret police agent who refused to denounce his wife as a traitor.

They were exiled to a grim provincial outpost where more gruesome findings made themselves known.

Hardy and his wife set out to find the culprit behind the murders in spite of their own safety.

When this movie is not followed closely, the plot may be completely lost on one.

Near the middle, I became transfixed to the screen, wondering what was going to happen next.

Hardy plays an excellent role and pulls off a brilliant Russian accent that can fool many.

The ending was unexpected but completely worth it to watch.

For the romantic, it may draw a few tears.

A good movie to watch with your other half, but definitely not for the eyes of children.
