Time to wrap the town in pink

Pink Trees for Pauline's purpose is to create awareness, unite communities and raise money for those afflicted with cancer in an inspired way - by turning towns pink.

The Pink Trees for Pauline campaign is back and ready to be displayed on trees, lamp posts and poles.

Tutti Meadon, who is part of the Pink Trees for Pauline campaign, says it is that time of year again for residents to display the pink material.

The campaign is aimed at raising awareness for people who are living with cancer, who have survived cancer and those who have lost the fight against cancer.

“The campaign was launched last year and was a big success, stretching all over the country,” she says.

She adds that she never thought it would do so well.

The price of the pink material remains unchanged at R20 per meter.

“The stock price we have to pay to receive the material has gone up, but we will not be raising the price of the material,” Tutti explains.

Tutti can be contacted on 082 921 5723, 082 828 2699 or 011 362 5886/7.
