The ultimate winner of the R1 000 buy-in category at the grand finale will win R1.5-mil.

The winner of the R100 buy-in category wins R500 000.

To register, players must visit the cash desk at Carnival City on tournament days and buy in.

Qualifying heats take place weekly until May 2.

The R100 buy-in tournaments take place between 7pm and 9pm from Monday to Friday, and between 2pm and 8pm on Saturdays.

The R1 000 buy-in takes place from 7.15pm to 9.15pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Seats are limited to 10 per heat in both categories.

Customers will be allowed to play for three minutes on Max Bet.

The top scorers will be updated daily on the leader board on the casino floor, and each week, the top credit earners will be selected to go through to the weekly semi-finals on Sundays.

The highest credit earners from the Sunday semis will be chosen to compete in the unit finals on May 3.

The cream of the crop, 45 finalists from across the country, will be selected to travel to Sun City for the national event.
