The story is about a rich man Conrad Valmont (Jason Bateman) who lives a life of leisure in his parent’s prestigious Manhatten Hotel.

His parents left him, as child, in the care of their staff and since then he always felt alone.

This caused him to develop separation anxiety and he frequently visits his therapist for treatment.

He finds himself sexually attracted to woman he doesn’t care for, but the ones he cares for he doesn’t find sexually attractive.

Within one week, he finds himself evicted from the hotel, disinherited and in love.

When his parents cut him off from their money he has no place to live and moves in with his friend Dylan.

He sees Beatrice Fairbanks (Olivia Wilde), a beautiful woman reading on a train and although the two looked at each other no word was said between them.

When he and Dylan attended a party he sees her again and she introduces herself as his best friend’s girlfriend.

The drama begins when they start seeing each other behind his friend’s back.

He cares for her and is sexually attracted to her.

When he confesses their relationship to his friend he soon finds himself homeless again.

When both Conrad and Beatrice realise it is over he decides to finish his book inspired by Beatrice.

The movie is 83 minutes long, and yes, you will fall in love with it.
